繼介紹「爵士浮生」這部電影之後，還不了解其迷人魅力的就來聽聽收錄於Herbie Hancock同名專輯[Possibilities]的"When Love Comes To Town"吧！原為B.B. King與U2合唱的歌曲，經Herbie Hancock的巧手以及藍調歌手Jonny Lang以及新生代女歌手Joss Stone，交疊出更絢麗的爵士火花！


原本是想先貼John Mayer的，不過想了想這首長達八分半的歌應該比較有擋頭。XD

當然重新錄製的過程也在「爵士浮生」這部片裡頭得以一覽無遺，相當珍貴的片段。

這首歌原版在U2的[Rattle And Hum]中就可以聽到，不然Google一下歌名和"U2"應該就可以了。

歌詞不難懂，其實要嚴謹一點的話也可以某程度看成是福音歌曲？

懶得深究的，純聽也很不賴。Herbie Hancock的手裡原就是處處驚嘆。

[Possibilities]


2005年賀比‧漢考克請到十多位各音樂領域頂尖歌手、樂手共同完成最新專輯「Possibilities」。甫於今年拿下葛萊美最佳作曲、二度得到流行男歌手獎的John Mayer與漢考克合寫的"Stitched Up"是專輯開場曲；緊接著"Safiatou"旋律與吉他一出，馬上知道是山塔納前來助陣，主唱是出生於西非貝南共和國的女歌手Angelique Kidjo。這兩首歌十足搖滾風，爵士氣息尚未發酵，不過接下來"A Song For You"卻是爵士味濃厚的慢板曲，令人訝異主唱竟是新生代的「瓶中精靈」克莉絲汀，作曲者是六、七○年代搖滾界頗負盛名的Leon Russell。皆下來三首歌的主唱分別是保羅‧賽門、安妮‧藍妮克絲與史汀，這三位樂壇老將配合著漢考克的鋼琴展現爵士風采，尤其"Sister Moon"原收錄於史汀個人專輯「太陽萬能」之中，史汀從單飛後便嘗試與爵士結合，此曲又是另一明證。"When Love Comes To Town"原是U2與藍調之王比比‧金合唱的歌曲，這次亦如法炮製請到一位藍調吉他手兼歌手Jonny Lang配上湯姆‧克魯斯極力推薦年僅18歲的英國女歌手喬絲‧史東對唱十分搶眼。曾獲全英音樂獎提名的愛爾蘭作曲家兼歌手戴米恩與合作伙伴麗莎‧漢尼根共同詮釋「黑珍珠」比莉‧哈樂黛的經典"Don’t Explain"。擁有阿根廷血統的盲人吉他手兼歌手Raul Midon翻唱史提夫‧汪德暢銷單曲"I Just Called To Say I Love You"截然不同的曲風，不過汪德特別客串此曲口琴獨奏部份。風格特異的搖滾團Phish主要成員吉他手Trey Anastasio與漢考克共譜的"Gelo Na Montanha - 1st Movement"（意為「Ice In The Mountain」）安排在最後一曲。整張專輯概念上還是爵士與流行的融合，漢考克的鍵盤、鋼琴有時退居伴奏有時凌駕於演唱之上，10首歌聽來又保有特別來賓各自的曲風，十分精彩的一張作品。
