因著這兩天手也好口也好諸多話題圍繞在爵士樂，這個午後索性放了爵士大街裡頭的「Jazz Divas」來複習，也就是一些眾所周知的爵士女伶，而Billie Holiday（比莉．哈樂黛）無非是爵士樂史上最為傷痕累累卻永留芬芳的一個經典傳奇。其實這首「Summertime」並不算是相當具代表性，but反正這兒也不是專欄，先來一些較為耳熟能詳的歌無傷大雅。


母親未滿二十歲就生下她，王八蛋吉他手父親則拋家棄女一走了之，窮困潦倒的Billie Holiday不僅曾遭受性侵，為執生計甚至下海當過雛妓，雖然直至她與Benny Goodman合作之後看似稍有起色，但遇人不淑的她卻被後來的丈夫帶著一起吸毒，直至44歲早逝，一代傳奇爵士女伶就此殞落，留給後世無限惋惜。


顛簸的人生卻造就了她獨一無二的聲線，只要你是一名敏感的愛樂人，聽些爵士樂，那當你聽過Billie Holiday的演唱，很難有不被其極富感情的聲音觸動的可能性，她是一名，用自己的生命與靈魂在唱歌的女性。
